Who are we?

Kais Jibrail (born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1985) was raised in a Catholic family. At the age of 15, he moved with his family to the Netherlands in 2000. Kais completed his higher education in the Netherlands and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Civil Law in 2014.

At age 24, Kais came to a true faith in Jesus Christ. Since then, he has been growing in faith, and the Lord has blessed him to serve as a pastor and teacher. In addition, he has devoted his gifts in music and singing to serving and worshiping the Lord.

From the beginning of his faith journey, Kais served in many Dutch and Arab churches in the Netherlands. Later, he began holding small gatherings and teaching the Bible in a house church. In 2016, the Lord Jesus placed it on his heart to establish a church with a strong focus on praise and worship. In 2018, the Church of Jesus Christ opened in the city of Zoetermeer, the Netherlands.

Through this church, Kais seeks to build a church free from offense, like the first church we read about in the Acts of the Apostles.

“My heart’s desire is to see the church repent and return to its Savior, Jesus Christ; that we all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; and that the community of believers be of one heart and mind.”
